    I googled "Excel amount in words" and got 22 million hits. the first one seems to be exactly what you want. Next, making a template is not that hard at all, no matter what Phil says.     Measure the distance from the top and left of the check for each field where text must be inserted. You can then set up the document with a table, text boxes, or ordinary text paragraphs positioned with indents and Spacing Before (I usually try to use the last method when possible).
