Rosa 'Claude Monet' (aka JACdesa) is a red blend hybrid tea rose cultivar, bred by American hybridizer, Jack E. Christensen. The rose is named for the French painter, Claude Monet. It was introduced into the US in 1992 by Jackson & Perkins Co. and also introduced the same year in France by Delbard Nursery as part of their Painter roses series.
Description. 'Red Gold' is an upright, bushy shrub, 3 to 4 ft (91–121 cm) in height with a 2–3 ft (60–91 cm) spread. Petals are typically 4-5 inches (10–12 cm) in diameter. From late spring to autumn, the plant bears clusters of mildly fragrant double flowers. Flower colour is a yellow blend with orange-red edges.

Its parents were two hybrid tea cultivars, the red and yellow 'Granada' (Lindquist, 1963) and the ivory 'Garden Party' (Swim, 1959).
